I hold the following certifications and professional affiliations:
Licensed Professional Counselor
- To maintain this license, therapists must have a Master's degree, work clinically under supervision for three years, pass a State of Georgia licensure examination and attend 35 hours of continuing education each year.
Master Addiction Counselor
- A national license, therapists who achieve Master Addicition Counselor must have a Master's degree, three years of work in addiction which has been clinically supervised, pass a national examination and receive 30 hours of continuing education work focusing on addiction each year.
Nationally Certified Counselor
- Also a national license, therapists who are certfied as Nationally Certified Counselors hold a Master's degree, must pass a national certification examination and must receive 30 hours of continuing education coursework each year.
